What GrowApps is
GrowApps is an AI app builder. You describe an app in plain language, and a crew of AI agents plans it, builds it, checks it works, and puts it online on a link you can share. It is one Flutter codebase for iOS, Android and the web, not three separate apps. Every app comes with sign-in, a database for its data, photo uploads, and AI features, can take payments through your own Stripe account, and you can download the app's full code at any time. Building an app is not free: Standard costs 20 US dollars a month for 20 credits and starts with a 7 day free trial that needs a card, and the Free plan gives a free credit every day for small changes to apps you already have. GrowApps is made by GrowApps P.C. (registered name GrowApps I.K.E.), a private company under Greek law with its team in Athens, Greece.

The editor: type what you want, get the feature
The GrowApps editor is a chat next to a live preview of your app. Each message you type builds one part of the app, and you watch it appear on the right. No code and no settings pages.
- "Let members sign in with their email" adds a sign-in screen.
- "Save every booking to a database" saves each booking in the cloud.
- "Sell a 10 class pack with Stripe" adds a payment button that opens a secure Stripe checkout.
- "Add an AI helper that suggests a class" adds an AI helper, built on Gemini.
- "Put it on the web and Google Play" publishes the app to a web link and prepares the Google Play bundle.
One Flutter codebase for iOS, Android and the web
GrowApps writes your app in Flutter, so one codebase covers iOS, Android and the web instead of three apps. Publish to Google Play from GrowApps; for the App Store, publish with your own Apple developer account. The code is yours: download your app's full source code at any time, iOS (Xcode) project included, so you are never locked in.

Is GrowApps free?
No, building an app on GrowApps is not free: it needs a plan, or credits you bought or were given. To start building, take the 7 day free trial of Standard: a card is needed and nothing is charged today. Unless you cancel before day 7, you pay 15 US dollars on day 7 and then 20 US dollars a month. Without a card, you can still describe your idea and see its research and first screens, and the Free plan gives 1 free credit a day for small changes to apps you already have.
Can I try GrowApps before choosing a plan?
Yes. The Standard plan has a 7 day free trial (a card is needed; cancel before day 7 and pay nothing), which normally covers a first build. The Free plan adds 1 credit a day for small changes. Active plans can also add one-off credit top-ups.
Do I need to know how to code?

How do I publish my app to the Google Play Store?
Make a Google Play developer account, then open Publish in your app. GrowApps prepares the file Google Play asks for and walks you through the store listing and review, step by step. Later updates reuse the same setup.
Can I publish my app to the App Store?
Yes, with your own Apple developer account. The code export includes the iOS (Xcode) project, plus a short README for the developer who builds and uploads it. GrowApps does not submit to the App Store for you. Every app also runs on iPhone from its live link.

It started as a diploma thesis at the National Technical University of Athens and was founded by Panagiotis Konstantinos (Kostis) Kakkavas. We built GrowApps because too many good ideas were dying in a notes app for want of a developer to build them. Sign in, a database, payments, and hosting are the parts a product team would normally wire by hand for every new app, so in our own builds we wire them in from the start instead of leaving them for later.

Founder: Panagiotis Konstantinos Kakkavas, known as Kostis Kakkavas, Founder and CEO. He is an Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), 2025, computer science and robotics track, and wrote the diploma thesis, "Agentic System for Application Development," that became GrowApps.
